I have been to … the Artillery Museum, St Petersburg: The Armour Collection

The Artillery Museum has a small but significant collection of medieval armour.

The exhibits include a 16th century knight mounted on an armoured horse and examples of ‘Maximillian’ armour. The horse armour is thought to have been made between 1552 and 1560 by Kunz Lochner of Nuremberg.
